 Dear Parents and Carers,

Neptune's Mini Enterprise Project - Cookies and Juice Sale - Thursday, 3rd December 2009

I'm delighted to announce that Neptune's cookies and juice sale today was a roaring success!  The children have been very busy these last couple of days, baking and icing the cookies.  In fact, the finished cookies looked so scrumptious, we sold every single one!  By the end of morning playtime, we had managed to raise the grand total of £61.80, which means we can go ahead and order a water pump online as a Christmas gift for a community in the developing world.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the children, parents and staff (particularly Mrs Green and Miss Ellingham) for your kind efforts and generosity.  This water pump will make a huge difference to the lives of some of the poorest people in the world and I thank each one of you for supporting our fund raising event. 

From all the children and staff in Neptune class, we wish you a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
