Welcome back. 

Hope you all enjoyed the Christmas Holidays.

We have a busy half term and we will be listening to, reading, sequencing and retelling traditional stories using story sacks. We will be creating story maps and writing our own stories. We will be reading non-fiction texts, finding information about Wolves.We will be comparing the sizes of characters and using positional language to describe where they are.

We will be investigating light and dark, designing and making coats for characters and sending the Beebot on different story journeys. We will be continuing with our baking activities and have planned to make Gingerbread Men, exploring heating and cooling, making Chocolate crispies and toast.

To develop our cultural awareness, we will be celebrating Chinese New Year, finding out about China in non-fiction texts, making lanterns, dragons and tasting Chinese Food. We would be very grateful if you could send in any artefacts, that we would find interesting to share.
