Over the next few days we will be updating this page of the website with how our egg hatching programme is progressing.

The eggs and the incubator have arrived and have been set up in the KS1 shared area. The incubator keeps the eggs warm, just like a mother chicken does when she sits on her eggs.

Tuesday 28th April 3:30pm
BREAKING News! One of the eggs has started to crack! (the one at the front in the middle). Watch this space for more news in the morning!

Wednesday 29th April 8:00am
FOUR chickens have hatched during the night and more eggs are on the move!

Chicken number 5 has hatched!

We are down to our last egg! We have 10 lovely, fluffy chicks!

We have decided to keep four of the ten chicks that hatched.
